Which Payment methods are supporting in Pay by link integration method?

How to add users in the portal?
Can the same E-mail id be used for multiple roles?
  • No, you cannot use the same email for multiple roles. Either you can assign the user email to top level hierarchy or to any particular outlet. Also you cannot assign a single user to multiple outlets.
How to configure transaction limit, Black listing of Countries/Emails/Domains ?
How can I find the outlet MID from portal?
  • You can check the Outlet MID from setting >> Organizational hierarchy >> MIDS.
How can I find the assigned payment channels for the Outlet?
  • You can check the assigned payment channels for your MID from setting >> Organizational hierarchy >> Payment Channels.
Is it possible to create multiple outlets under same MID?
  • Single MID can be used for multiple outlets, but there has to be different TIDs for each outlet. However, if all outlets are using same MID then settlement will be done to one bank account only which is associated with that MID.
Can we assign separate users to different outlets under our organization?
  • Yes, you can assign separate users to each of your outlets if it is created as separate organizational unit.
What is Email notifications?
Why my customers are not receiving any notification regarding payment status?
My customers say they are not receiving the e-mail link what do I tell them ?
  • Request your customer to check their Junk Mail,

Pay by link configuration

What needs to be filled in “From email address” field?
  • You can enter the email address like yourcompanyname@ngenius-payments.com and the pay by link will be creating from this email address.
Can we use our own email domain instead of “@ngenius-payments.com”?
  • No, the payment link is generating from N-genius portal so by default the domain will be “@ngenius-payments.com”.
What is Auth & Sale transaction type ?
  • In “Auth” money will blocked in customer account [customer will get debit message from bank] and will not be credited to merchant unless merchant perform a manual capture from the portal. You can do the capture from Portal >> Orders >> Open order >> Capture.
  • In “Sale” both Auth and Capture will take place automatically. You can select the transaction type based on your business. Ex: Auth type will be suitable for Hotel business
What is the maximum limit for payment re-attempts?
  • The maximum allowed re-attempts will be 5.
What should we use if we do not have a pay by link logo URL, is it a mandatory field?
  • Yes, it is a mandatory field and If you don’t have the Pay by link logo URL, you can create a logo link through Google drive. Please find the steps below:
  • Login/setup your account in Google Drive
  • upload your image, make sure to check the specification (pixel size, doc type – png, <500KB)
  • right click and chose "get sharable link"
  • copy the link which should look like "https://drive.google.com/file/d/1I8LW1iWCk_6oN4x0ChNZitEycQHmQYSp/view?usp=sharing"
  • change it like >
  • Replace the ID highlighted in green with yellow.

Payments

How to create a payment link from N-genius portal?
  • You can create the payment link from Portal >> payments >> NEW.
What should be used in Payment link order reference ID field?
  • Payment link order reference ID is the order id/reference ID/Invoice ID you are using to track the orders or customers.
What is the unique reference number that can be used in the portal and settlement report?
  • Unique reference number is the payment link order reference ID which you can enter while creating the payment link. If you are enabling “unique reference number” feature, then the portal will check the uniqueness of the order ID to see if it is already used or not.
Can we change the expiry date for a particular customer?
  • Yes, it possible. Even if you are providing a default link expiry date in the configuration page, you can change it for a particular customer. You can see the option “Expiry date” in the payment creation page and from there you can change the default expiry date.

Orders

Can I void a capture and then cancel an Auth ?
  • Yes, you can select “cancel authorization” option to cancel the payment.
Within how many hours/Days should I capture the transaction?
  • You’d need to capture the payment within 4 business days.
When will the Cancel Authorization/Refund will reflect on Customer account?
  • Ideally 5 to 7 working days but it completely dependent on the card issuing bank policies
Is recurring billing is available in Pay by link?
  • No, for pay by link recurring billing is not available.
How can I find the “Auth code” of a transaction?
  • You can get the Auth code through Orders >> Open order >> History.

Reports

How can I generate report for all my transactions from the portal?
  • Reports can be downloaded through Portal >> reports >> Generate. You’d need to filter the data like Date, Order Status, Payment type, Channel, Currency, Outlet and click generate. Once the status changed from pending to done, you can download the report.
Can report be used for reconciliation?
  • Yes, Combination of Auth code , transaction amount , date

Pay by link email template

Why I am not able to use Arabic language to create email templates?
  • As of now Arabic is not supporting in portal as you can only use English to create Email template.
What is the purpose of Smart tag option?
  • If you are using smart tag options in the email template, this will replace with customer details once it sent to the customer. Smart tag options are available for First name, Last name, order Id and expiry date. You should use the options like {{orderId}}, {{firstName}} {{lastName}} and {{expiryDate}}.

Errors in Pay by link creation

Why I am receiving the error “Invoice featuring disabled”?
  • You need to make sure the pay by link is enabled in your account. Please follow the steps below to enable the pay by link service in your account.
  • 1. Login to the portal.
  • 2. Click on the profile icon which is at the top right corner.
  • 3. Click on Navigate organizational hierarchy.
  • 4. Click on the organizational unit Merchant listed (Outlet name).
  • 5. Click on select button which will be near to heading, Merchant name.
  • 6. Now the page will be refreshed to get a menu Services under Settings Menu.
  • 7. Enable the pay by link.
Why I am receiving the error “Failed to create order”?
  • There are multiple reasons for this issue. Few are listed below
  • Please check the max: transaction limit for your order from risk rules>> Basic risk rules >> Currency limit. You cannot create a payment link with higher amount that the mentioned transaction limit.
  • Please check the details you have provided in the Success URL/Pay by link logo URL field in configuration page.
